Meet Your Trainer

Hi! I’m Taylor - Also known as Tay!

First and foremost, I am a mama to two amazing little goof balls and a doggo. My son, Cal, is 5 and my daughter, Cora, is 4. Our dog’s name is Zeke. I’m an active, fun loving, goof ball; An amateur yogi, a paddleboard junky, and a low level gamer. I’m a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and I’m currently working towards my NASM CNC (Certified Nutrition Coach) as well.

As a former Division 1 collegiate athlete (volleyball), fitness has been a major part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up playing all the sports and have always been active. After I graduated from the University of Missouri Kansas City with my BA in Psychology in 2016, I knew health and wellness would always be a priority for me.

I had my first baby in 2019 and made it a priority to stay active throughout the whole pregnancy. I bought a pregnancy and postpartum workout guide that kept me on my feet and active and helped educate me in so many ways. I had my second baby in 2021. After I had recovered and rehabbed my pelvic floor, I found myself looking for a workout program.

As a former athlete with a lot of experience with different workout types and styles, I knew what I wanted, I just didn’t really know how to put it together. I wasn’t interested in buying a workout “challenge” and I didn’t want to pay a monthly subscription for a workout app or anything like that. I just wanted someone to put together one 6-8 week program that I could recycle time after time after time.

I never really found exactly what I was looking for so I decided to continue educating myself so I could be confident in building my own programs! Now I’ve been building my own since 2022.

After reading “Built to Move” by Kelly and Juliette Starrett, and “Outlive” by Peter Attia in the fall of 2023, I decided I needed to begin sharing my fitness knowledge with people around me. In December 2023, I made the choice to get NASM certified as a Personal Trainer. It’s something I had wanted to do since I graduated college in 2016, but I finally took the leap.

Now, here I am, sharing my knowledge with as many people as I can! As a mom, I know how important it is to be able to stay active with my kids. I also know how hard it is to prioritize my own health and wellness. I get that it’s difficult. I get that sometimes it’s easier to sit on the couch. I get that tv dinners and PB&Js are easier than cooking. I don’t want to live a life that limits me. I want to live a life where I can say “YES” to all things, knowing I am physically capable of each and every one of them. I want to be the 80 year old great grandma that can still get down on the floor and play with my great grandkids. Most of all, I want to be someone who inspires others to live their fullest lives as well!

My motto will forever be this: YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU THINK YOU ARE.
